ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) POLICY

International Journal of Law, Commerce and Management (IJLCM) recognizes the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in academic research and scholarly communication. The journal supports the responsible and ethical use of AI technologies while ensuring that research integrity, originality, transparency, and author accountability are maintained.

Authors may use AI tools to support research activities such as language improvement, proofreading, data organization, and other research assistance. However, the use of AI tools must not compromise the originality, accuracy, authenticity, or ethical standards of the submitted manuscript.

Responsible Use of AI by Authors

Authors using AI tools during manuscript preparation must ensure that:

  • AI-generated content is carefully reviewed, verified, and refined by the authors before submission.
  • Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the submitted work.
  • AI tools are not listed as authors or contributors of the manuscript.
  • Any significant use of AI assistance that affects the research content or preparation of the manuscript should be transparently disclosed.
  • The use of AI should comply with ethical research practices and applicable publication standards.

AI-Generated Content and Research Integrity

International Journal of Law, Commerce and Management (IJLCM) does not accept manuscripts in which AI-generated content replaces the authors' original scholarly contribution. Authors must ensure that research ideas, analysis, interpretations, and conclusions are developed and verified by human authors.

Any misuse of AI tools, including generation of false information, fabricated references, manipulated data, or misleading research content, will be considered a violation of publication ethics.

Editorial and Review Process

Editors and reviewers may use appropriate AI-based tools to support editorial activities, such as plagiarism detection, language assessment, or manuscript screening. However, all editorial decisions remain the responsibility of the Editorial Board and are based on professional judgment and ethical standards.
