RETRACTION, CORRECTION AND EXPRESSION OF CONCERN POLICY

The journal follows transparent procedures for handling corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern to ensure that published research remains trustworthy and credible.

Correction of Published Articles

International Journal of Law, Commerce and Management (IJLCM) recognizes that minor errors may occasionally occur in published articles. When an error is identified that does not affect the overall findings, interpretation, or integrity of the research, the journal may issue a correction notice.

Corrections are published transparently and linked to the original article to ensure that readers have access to accurate and updated information.

Retraction of Articles

An article may be retracted when serious issues are identified that affect the validity, reliability, or ethical standards of the published research. Reasons for retraction may include:

  • Significant errors that affect the research findings or conclusions.
  • Plagiarism or duplicate publication.
  • Fabrication or falsification of research data.
  • Ethical violations or serious misconduct in the research or publication process.

Retraction decisions are made carefully by the Editorial Board after appropriate investigation and evaluation of the available evidence.

Expression of Concern

In cases where serious concerns are raised about a published article but the investigation process is not yet complete, International Journal of Law, Commerce and Management (IJLCM) may issue an Expression of Concern. This notice informs readers that the validity or integrity of the article is under review.

Once the investigation is concluded, the journal may take further action, including correction, retraction, or removal of the concern notice as appropriate.
